Session Proposal Form and Instructions

Preparing to Submit a Proposal
A Birds-of-a-Feather (BOF) session is intended to be an open discussion on a technology topic of interest NOT a presentation or a product pitch. Any technology related topic will be considered.

It is strongly suggested that you review the What is a Birds-of-a-Feather Session? and Elements of a Good BOF Session Proposal posts before writing your proposal.

Submitting a Proposal Form
BOF Session proposals can be submitted starting Tuesday September 1, 2009 through Friday, October 31, 2009 at 5:00 PM PDT, or until proposals have been accepted for all available time slots. An email will be sent within 2 business days acknowledging receipt of your proposal.

The submission email must come from the person who will be the host!

Please use the same personal (host) information as your PDC09 registration so we can confirm your registration with Microsoft.

Review and Acceptence
Session proposals will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis and submitters will be notified no later than Monday November 1, 2009 whether their proposal was accepted or declined.

NOTE: You must be willing to host a session in any of the conference time slots and your session will not be finalized until you are registered for the conference, no later than November 1, 2009.

Selections will be made on a rolling basis. Selection and scheduling of the sessions will be done by a volunteer organizing team of developer community members from INETA: all decisions are final.

By submitting a proposal you agree that all Topic and Host Information except email address and phone number can be used in promotional materials for the PDC09 Conference and other related activities by Microsoft and INETA.
